About Horizon Worship Center

Vision

Horizon Worship Center is a "ministry of transformation" called by God to make a radical change in people's lives.

Pastor Hines was led by God in 1985 to found a ministry where people could come and grow in their intimacy with God and experience the "abundant life" Jesus Christ came to bring us. The vision for Horizon Worship Center is that people from all ethnic groups and diverse backgrounds come together in one place to form a "greater union." This diversity, operating in love and mutual respect, reflects the unconditional love of God.

It is the Father's will that the church be conformed to the image of His Son Jesus. Horizon Worship Center purposes to fulfill His will through teaching, exhorting, correcting, and especially by being an example. Our desire is to bridge the gap, not only between the races, but also between the many denominations. We want to see every believer whole, filled with the Holy Spirit, learned, and bold (not rude).
